Summary:

Gulf Coast Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of Oil and Gas Well Service Equipment and is posting for several Mechanic positions. In general, we are searching for someone with experience in disassembling and assembling pump units, wireline units, and hydraulic power units. This person should also be experienced with diagnosing problems in a shop and office environment with the skills and experience levels listed below.

Mechanical Experience:

· Complete disassembly and assembly of mechanical parts, specifically diesel engine driven, high pressure, pump packages.

· General disassembly and assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, and 12 volt components

· Read and interpret prints for assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, and 12 volt systems

· Function test and diagnose these systems

· Provide own hand tools

· Operate shop equipment such as forklifts, specialized tools (which we will provide), and bridge cranes

· Various types of general hand and measuring tools

Supervision Experience:

· Follow directions and duties to meet production goals

Comfortable with completing quality control documentation

· Strong people skills

· Requires the ability to work side by side with a project team

· Requisition parts and supplies as needed

· Communicate in a professional manner with all levels of the organization

· Strong safety focus

· 3-5 years’ experience preferred

· Acceptable driving record
